Staying in the Seasons.
Our favourite time of year to stay! Expect mild to warm days and fresh nights.
All cubbies are a great option. If booking the tents, just be prepared that perfect conditions aren’t guaranteed and you could end up with rain, wind or sunshine. Dinny is your safest option is you’re concerned about camping in unpredictable conditions.
When staying close to winter, we suggest packing clothes you would take on a ‘camping’ trip i.e. jacket, beanie, gloves, thick socks, uggs and thermals. You can also BYO sleeping bag if you really feel the cold.
The tents close across winter. We’ve tried and tested heating options, but none do the trick.
Dinny remains open throughout the season. There’s an outdoor fire pit, internal heating, cosy blankets and a hot shower. The perfect spot for a cosy night away.
To be on the safe side for those super chilly nights, especially if you’re spending time by the fire pit, we still suggest packing:
Long pyjamas and thick wooly socks or slippers
Jacket, beanie and gloves
Best for those who don’t mind the heat! While all the doors and windows (in both the bell tents and tiny home) can be opened for a nice cross-breeze, it can still get hot. We recommend spending the afternoon at the cellar door and heading to your cubby later, around 4:30-5pm.
Our top pick for summer is Dinny. The tiny house gets beautiful morning sun and is sheltered from harsh afternoon heat.
The tents are less protected and can get hot during the day. Edgar gets more afternoon shade than Frank, but Frank gets the ripper sunset views.
